STUDIO PERCUSSION graz
was founded in 1979 by Günter Meinhart.
SP had the privilege of presenting its programmes and productions from Berlin to Athens, Ankara to Paris and from Seoul to New York.
After 30 years of productivity the ensemble now has the maturity of an old wine: drunk-making and creating orgiastic imagery.
The desire to produce, perform and celebrate was never as great as at present.

In 2006, as part of the LA STRADA festival, the percussion performance was performed in the Graz opera house, herewith providing the route for the culture of European percussion to be made palatable for a wide public.
They are right on-route! WUMM! will be on tour until 2011.
